During my career, I’ve always felt that learning different positions within a company would give management the best perspective on how to navigate the complexity and challenges of business as they arise. And that’s exactly what I’ve done at The Bruning Law Firm. I joined the ranks at the firm as a paralegal after receiving a Master’s degree in Legal Studies, and a Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies. At that time, we were a firm of five, three attorneys and two paralegals.
Being a paralegal at the firm created a perfect synergy for my role as Director of Administration, as I have the unique ability to approach matters with a well-rounded perspective. Before joining the firm, armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, I worked at a crime lab, honing my commitment to serving justice and advocating for those who needed it most. And because I get this question whenever I mention the crime lab, I call tell you it’s not exactly like CIS.When not at the firm, I love exploring new workout routines, with a particular fondness for the challenge and artistry of kettlebell workouts. I have weekly game nights with friends trying to solve boxed murder mysteries and indulge my culinary creativity by recreating any recipes from Half-Baked Harvest cookbooks.
